Our lives are inextricably linked to the ocean, which produces half of the oxygen on our planet and provides livelihoods for billions of people, playing an important role in the global economy. According to projections, by 2030, the number of people employed in the ocean-based industry will reach approximately 40 million. However! 90% of large fish populations have been depleted, and 50% of coral reefs have been destroyed.
These challenges require collective efforts, with museums, educational institutions, and research centers playing a particularly important role. They raise public awareness, prepare future specialists, support research, and drive the development of new technologies.
