The Literary Museum of the RAS Institute of Russian Literature
The Pushkin House is one of the first historical and literary museums in Russia. It served as the foundation for the creation of several iconic literary memorial museums in St. Petersburg, dedicated to Alexander Pushkin, Nikolai Nekrasov, and Alexander Blok.
As part of its participation in the Festival program, the museum, located in St. Petersburg, opens its collections to visitors, offering access to unique biographical and iconographic materials related to the great figures of Russian literature from the 18th to the 20th centuries.
The museum’s collection, assembled as part of a research institute, reflects an academic approach both in the nature of the collection itself and in the methods used to interpret it.
